Job Description

We are seeking a legal assistant with experience in estate planning and/or estate administration.  The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in drafting documents, scheduling appointments and performing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail and excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal; and a demonstrable understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation and problem-solving skills. The candidate will have direct client contact and manage attorneys’ calendars. Must be able to work independently, under the supervision of an attorney. Must have professional appearance as well as prior experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of TABS and Form-Builder computer programs is a plus. Must have available transportation to deliver and collect documents at the Courthouse and/or locally. Salary commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing is required.  This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand as necessary, and ascend/descend stairs.
